what would be the point of putting four capacitors inbetween the wire that goes to the temperature sensor to the wire harness, because I just bought an 89 s13 coupe, and I am trying to get this overheating problem fixxed and I think this may be the problem.

also the car, after sitting for a whole day and the motor is cold, why does the temp gauge go all the way to normal op temp?
