How to get a Lower Seat Height?

Currently have a Corbeau FX1 Pro seat with a Planted Side Mount Bracket. The bracket sits pretty low to the floor and I have no sliders, and I have it on the bottom slot both front and back, so it is (I think) as low as possible. I sit comfortably normally, but hit the left side of my head with little movement when wearing a helmet. I am 6'3".

2 Questions:

If I move the seat up a notch or 2 on the front side of the bracket, does that lower my head height as it will recline me back, or will it end up lifting me?

Also, does anyone know if I can flip the bracket upside down with a Planted bracket? the piece that holds the seat is one piece, front and back, each side, for a total of 4 pieces
here is a pic for reference: http://www.frsport.com/images/detail...DR_FS01-01.jpg

Thanks for the help!

Pending on how narrow/wide your seat is and how the brackets sit you could possibly have the base of the seat drop in between the 2 planted brackets which are mounted to the chassis and sit the seat more or less on the floor.

You may need to drill some new holes on the side plates if the width of the seat/bracket allows you to do this.

If you cant do that, what we have done in the past is cut off the end of the brackets which mount to the chassis, position the seat in the car where you want it, angle the ends of the brackets as needed, and then tack them in place, pull everything out, and weld it up solid and reinforce it.
