Today I noticed an immense increase in power and looked down and my boost gauge to see the needle climbing past 10psi. Im on the stock tune, stock turbo, stock injectors, and have no booost controller.

I figure the wastegate is stuck. Any way to free it up? Please dumb this down as much as possible for me. I recently messed up this car doing an oil change (ripped out starter wires with filter wrench...).

I tried to search, but the search function is down on my phone for some reason.

1989 s13 coupe. Sr20det red top.
