my turbo iis whining liike a supercharger.. what the hell?

My car would boost 14lbs like a champ (stock sr). When the turboo spooled it made hardly any noisie. Earlier thiis week i went to drivinig my car and as the turbo spools its liike a loud whiistle - sounds JUST liike a supercharger or like a biig turbo. As for power, the car was fast as shiti last night, what could thisi be? is thisi bad? any one ever experience this wiith an sr?

pressure test the system. Check the seal between the compressor and the compressor outlet pipe. If the turbo is in good shape then most likely it is a leak somewhere.
