![]() Hello Zilvia,
I've started the huge undertaking of swapping a '95 vh45de into my s-chassis, and would like some technical knowledge on mating it up with a CD009 trans (late model z33 revision) I understand most vh guys go with the z32TT trans due to its proven strength and all that crap, but I'm really set on getting a six speed in there. The only adapter plate I can find is from Collins adapters: http://collinsadapters.com/index.php...ter-plate.html I figure I use that with the cd009 to s13 cross member from Xcessive: https://www.driftmotion.com/N-S-VQ-TCM-S1-p/dm3301.htm but past this I'm just stupid. What else would I need to find/have fabbed to get this shit to function, what clutch/flywheel to use, etc. I can't be the only guy who's tried to make this work, anybody ever give this a shot, or have info as to why it's never been done before? I'd love to hear some input.
