Is it just me or wouldn't having left a car like that in storage for almost 8 years to the point where it gains only an average of 100 miles a year be a BAD thing for the car itself if you plan to try and shop it off to an enthusiast's market for $14k above new retail?

It's a bit too expensive imho!!!
Don't get me wrong, it's a great car that can give a spanking to a lot of cars on race circuits, but it's way too expensive.. A used 97-01 Type-R sells for 16k here...

I'd go drive it 5 miles and sell it to somebody who believes in good luck.

People do that to Vettes and Camaros all the time, with the KNOWLEDGE that the cars will grow to collector's status in a few short years and having one in showroom condition (and as close as possible mileage) will TRIPLE the asking price... Unfortunately, this doesn't apply to a honda owner, it just makes them stupid

that is the factory Type R wing. I guess if people are into collecting it it might be worth it...

For me, cars are meant to be driven. I like keeping it nice but no point to have it if I can't drive it.
