BOV, I think?

recently my turbo seized up. I took all of that out and put in a rebuilt turbo. But tonight i went to drive it for the first time, and when i let off or shifted i couldnt hear the BOV. Its all factory stuff. s13 smic, bov, I dont have a boost gauge. I replaced the vaccum line, i made sure all my clamps where tight. I took the valve off and sucked on the Vaccum line and blew air through it, and its opening and closing. It sounds its sucking air so i guess its boosting. ANY IDEAS?
oh yeah it did trying making some kida noise, sound like a sizzling noise though

stock sr im guessing, theres a bypass valve on there, but it doesnt make much noise, you hear more turbo spool and turbo flutter then u do bov, it has a light chhh noise at higher boost but its not loud, so i wouldnt worry about it, just take it off and put an aftermarket one on there if you want the noise.
