Hey, I have a 1993 s13 coupe and my wipers are able to turn on when I'm in accessory mode or if I turn my parking lights on. To my knowledge, it is only supposed to be operable when the car is on. Windshield wipers work as usual if the vehicle is running. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

Check your wiring harnesses in your fenders. They're probably worn through and grounding out on each other.

my harness is relocated under the dash so i may have wired something wrong. this is the only problem i have with the relocation

Sounds like you need to double-check your work.

There are two fender harnesses on S13s.

Go over those wires and make sure no copper is exposed.

ended up swapping to my original hud cluster and now the wipers only come on in acc and on. turning on the parking lights doesn't allow me to turn on the wipers anymore (thank god).
the wipers are only supposed to come on when its key on right? not both acc and on
