240sx S14 Window Track rollers AVAILABLE NOW
My s14 had some difficulty rolling up and down the windows, heard some clunking and they seemed to be slightly off track. Opened the door panel to find the window roller was broken in half.
![]() THERE ARE NO REPLACEMENTS as the window regulators are unserviceable..... UNTIL NOW. ![]() Its a easy job with basic tools you'll need a drill or grinder, pliers, screw driver, grease, and a socket set. Roll or push window down to get to this bolt access window on the left side of the door, un bolt the two bolts holding the window up and drop it softly to the bottom of the door. As seen in this pic there's a bump on the track you'll have to remove. *** You will have to remove this while its still in the door *** ![]() ![]() I chose to use a Dremel with carbide grinding bit to massage the bump out of existence. ![]() Slide the lower track out of the door, clean and grease the track and Rollers. Place the rollers into the track and align the Window stub to the rollers ![]() Use pliers to press fit the new roller to the window stub. ![]() Just like that your previously unserviceable windows are Working again! These are made with ABS plastic for heat and durability. Let me know if you need any replacements or have any questions. Last edited by xxmarcusrxx; 01-09-2025 at 03:51 PM.. |
