Ka24de S13/14 EGR OPTIONS

KA24DE application

S14 needs an EGR replacement. S13 and s14 OEM part has been discontinued.

Does anyone know if using a D21 Nissan truck EGR might bolt up or know any other alternatives?

Yes, I?ve researched online and there are NO aftermarket options for a 240sx. I called up local part stores ? nothing.

Yes, I can buy a used 240sx EGR and check for vacuum, but I?m planning to buy online.

Purpose:I need to pass CA emissions.

I will have an s13 EGR system for sale soon if you're interested. I'm deleting mine. What part of the EGR system are you looking for?

The D21 Nissan truck EGR may bolt up to the KA24DE engine, but confirm fitment before purchasing. You can consider sourcing a used 240SX EGR valve online or cleaning and reconditioning your existing one to restore functionality.

I always thought the Hardbody motors would bolt right in

Look around for used ones. They're usually pretty robust. I've seen 100x more EGR setups thrown in the trash because "muh useless emissions" than replaced because they didn't work.

The B14 GA16DE EGR valve is very similar to a KA24DE EGR valve once you swap the KA's little right angle manifold adapter thing onto it. The port for the hardline that goes to the bottom of the BPT valve points the other way but there should be enough room to reroute the line. If you had a KA24DE and GA16DE EGR valve next to each other you'd see what I mean. I think you can use a GA16DE BPT valve also, except for the bracket. The D21 and D22 KA EGR is also pretty similar. No other Nissans I can find have the same angle for the crossover pipe.

I think you can still get the S14 crossover pipe new, but if not, look up how people have made their own replacement crossover pipes out of stainless steel flex gas line. Would work very similar to this for the KA:

For a single cam, the long block is similar, but the accessories and manifolds and emissions parts are not the same. Also need to swap the oil pan and pickup.

For a DOHC nothing fits
