Hey..

I just wanted to know if there is a difference between the American and the Canadian spec. 240sx (s13)

Also, is there anyone here in Ottawa, or close to it?

Well.... there's 1 difference i know of. The canadian s13's have daytime running lights, the american s13's usually have a plastic guard where the lights normally are.... lemme see if i can find some pics:

I think almost all Canadian 240sx's came with VLSD, and manual seatbelts, while all (except convertible) US 240's had power seatbelts.  Other than that, and possibly the dash (KPH vs MPH??), they're the same.

yeah, i lately found out that the canadian models have the daylights.  im in canada and i have a '92 SE.  this means i have LSD?  i cant really tell if i do or not when i do a burnout.

all the canadian cars had manual belts, and all (regardless of hicas, which wasnt on all cars) had LSD's.

Canadian 240sx LE here, Both Hicas and LSD

I'm from Toronto Canada and have a '93 LE with leather, ABS, rear swaybar, and VLSD, but no HICAS.

Canadian models all have daytime running lights, and manual seatbelts.  I'm unaware if there's any sort of package that was available from the factory (maybe a sport package?), but I've worked on a number of 240's, and not every model has VLSD, ABS, or HICAS.
