umm yea i got an sr right, and this one gas station on rosemead and whitter (76) fucked up my exhaust, this place has a sick ass dip but they have $2.13 for 91 oct but anyway i never got an exhaust for my sr, i always had my stock downpipe catback exhaust, and i recently broke it cat and cat back. so now im running my sr with only a downpipe, wat kind of things will it affect if i run my car like that for like a week until i get my full hks exhaust??

makotos13.... learn how to talk?? last time i checked i can only write on a forum not talk on it? did u hear any audio u lame fuck? and this wasnt just any dip, go to the gas station and check it out, it blends in with the concrete and its pretty hard to notice, i barely drove like 3mph over it and it still fucked me up....well i figured the no backpressure from not having an exhaust would affect my compression a little but i guess it doesnt matter since im turbo?? i dunno that was jus an assumption.... and suggestions on the type of exhaust? for sure ima get the new XS downpipe / testpipe but im either thinking hks hi-power or rs-r?

Anyways...yeah i was running stock downpipe / catback and everything and it has a lot of restriction to power...im wondering the same. i have an aftermarket 3" turbo outlet, downpipe and straight pipe and waiting for my hks catback to come...

i was thinking about just installing my aftermarket turbo outlet/downpipe/straight pipe and slap on the stock exhaust for now until the hks catback comes, but i figured that it wont make much of a difference anyway right? itll have the same restriction through out the stock catback?

Just stop worrying. Only worry about getting pulled over. But to be honest, in Socal, cops aren't that bad. Once a cop followed me when I was running rich with a blitz bov (=\) and i was backfiring all over the place, and he didn't care, apparently.

I drove my fastback all over so cal with apexi n1 dual and hotshot header,,, loud as fuck but I never got pulled over for that. I also drove my s14 KA with no catback for a couple days... VERY loud but I never got pulled over.
