lexus SC300 seats

I was wondering if anyone has converted lexus SC300 seats to fit the s14? I was thinking that they are kinda like the stock seats but probably provide more cushion. Is this possible?

before anything measure the seat width and look at the overall height. then do a test fit, and then proceed from there and post with and results.

btw. I have seen JDM Integra Type R seats (aka Recaro SRD) and few others honda seats installed but never a toyota seats

Give someone your address so they can come by and slap you.

The seat's width makes it impossible, and an SC seat weighs well over 100lbs each. I repaired a motor in a friend's car and it took everything I had to get it out without scratching the rocker panel to hell and back.

wider than the distance between the tranny hump and the door i promise

I'll get measurements tomorrow if i remember to... you definitely dont want them in the car tho... they weigh damn near 100lbs literally... they are comfy though

see, thats what I'm after, i like the comfort idea. I thought since the SC is kinda like the s14 that it might fit. its really not even like I care about weight though.

SC 300 seats are ok but not worth the hassle. IMO

nothing special about them, they're heavy as hell and the bolstering isnt great, SC owners swap in SUpra seats for better support

and yes dimension wise, they are taller at the base and quite a bit wider

I rather enjoy my S14 seats they arent so bad, not worth the trouble to put the seats from my SC400 in it

I know someone who put Current Gen Celica seats into his S14, fit fine with some rail changes, I like the seats too (feel good when I drive my bro's Celica)
