I recently bought a oem cd player from a 95-96 240 and thought it would just plug right into my 97-98 wiring but it doesnt. Has anyone else run into this situation before? Any advise would be good. thanks!

It does plug in. The problem is that it's a preamp deck and you don't have amplifiers to drive the speakers, nor do you have the wiring required for the amps.
