I have a 98se and I just ordered my prokit.

Has everyone had good luck with these springs on stock shocks?  I have 60k on my car right now so I'm keeping my stock shocks for now.  Did you notice a decent drop?  Any problems?  Before and after pictures?  Thanks.

I used the Pro Kit springs for about a year on stock struts/shocks with no problems.  It lowers the car just right IMO.  I don't have any pictures up yet though.

Check out Orion from FA's site at the top right under "eibach install" he has before and after pics and install instructions.  He blew his stock shocks the 1st day he had his springs...some people have better luck I guess.

That website didn't mention cutting the front bumpstops.  The directions that came with my springs said to cut the front ones.  I tried it without cutting first but my struts bottomed out.  Also, on a 97 (and 98 I assume) the bumpstop and boot are one piece.  So you are cutting the boot off the bumpstop leaving your piston rod thing exposed to dirt.  I got a plastic boot at the local autoparts store and used a ziptie to hold it to the bumpstop (sounds bad but it worked).  You could cut the other end of the bumpstop but it is designed to fit into the spring upper seat.

Yeah welI move to cali in about 5 weeks, and by the time I get the springs I'll probably only have a few tulsa weeks to put them on so I might need to put them on california.  I need to make some socal 240 friends.

Hi, I'm chance.  I drive a 98 240.  If you live in Socal and are into 240's...be my friend.  If you don't have a 240...be my friend anyways.  Can I use your garage?  Can I use your tools?  Help me put this on.  How do I do this? Are we there yet? Huh are wwe? are we?

ok i'll shut up.

That's so awesome that you ordered them.  I decided to wait, since my car insurance is due now (argggg....something always comes up).  Ya gotta auto-x on April 7 before you leave for Cali!
