ok...after i broke my shaft at the track(as some of u know) i replaced it with an OE shaft. i thought the vibratoin was because the bearing retainer in the center was bent and not quite centered...ok...so i guee i needa 1-piece shaft. i get it..... YEAH!!!!....short lived...as i drove and planned to rip the streets up try it out... i hit 40..a bit of vibration....no prob...kept goin faster...not bad...got to 65... i had flashbacks of the night i broke my shaft and let off REAL fast. shit...i guess its not the shaft...hope it not the tranny!!

anyway...the question is...how can i figure out where it comming from?? it only occurs at 65+. i need someone to ride inteh car with me to figure out if it coming from the front or back.

...soo....anyone got anyideas of how to test it or...possible areas to check??
diff, wheel hubs, lug nuts...idk how i would check the tranny....anything else???

oh...and i can smell hot...or burning oil....i think...or it was someone elses car i hope..ive only done it like twice.

I thought you had a bunch of friends here in SA? The tranny mounts, are they still good? Have you removed your wheels recently?

i have a few friends but i've been super busy. i have considered wheels be i havent touched them since i broke the shaft.

Black zenki with black shoes...lowered...FMIC...wingless SE...dirty exhaust...some koguchi camber...and one side of pin-stripe...Wednesdays-fridays...

The other is stock black zenki se, it is the beater. I use it on Sundays thru tuesdays...

The other is an 89 coupe in the works...

The funny thing is, I am interested in a fastback on marbach and 410 for $1400...

lol thas super close to where i live..kinda. cant say ive seen your car b4. im suprised..i've seen a good majority of the 240s here...even that banana cream one on lackland the wth N1...or HKS exhaust

My main venues of travel are IH10 and 410W and vice-versa. I work between 5pm to 3am, so i only travel when no one wants to (rush hour...early in the morning). I am mostly at home, taking a break from school during the day so I can homeschool my youngest...or actually, prep him for pre-K. We just practice piano, read books, play outside and work on the cars, surf a little nickjr, watch some transformer episodes on dvd, practice handwriting and so forth. Stuff I wish my deadbeat dad would have done.
