4. front bumper
5. fenders (to fit new lights) I don't think you'll be able to find these parts in a junk yard. Usually when damage is bad enough to put a car in a junkyard its front end damage.

Why would the s14's get a new designation (s14 -> s14a), albeit unofficial, when the s13 had inumerable more changes from '90 to '91. In addition to the front face, it has vast engine changes. . .
Just thinkin', I'll try not to do it again.

BTW it's S14 to S14a, not S14a to S14b.
I guess the change in the 'look' of the S14 was just more dramatic (very much so) than the '90- to '91+ S13s. After all, that (on the exterior) just the bumper.... But who knows... Nissan have their reasons.

actually there is no real name specfied for the two differences, easiest is to use from 95-96 front to 97-98 front.
I think you need, hood, fenders, lights, bumper, bumper support (maybe not), grille, and i think some bracket that holds the new style lights in. |

Actually there is a designated name. The 95-96 are the s14 zenki, and the 97-98 models are the s14 kouki.

It would only make sence because a comes before b and 95-96 comes before 97-98. I've also heard 95-96 called bmcs14 and 97-98 being mcs14, mc being either minor conversion or minor change.

That's not really the designated name - I don't think there is one. IIRC, Zenki and Kouki is just Japanese for before and after. I like it though b/c Zenki sounds cooler (looks cooler too imho) |

It may not be designated by nissan, but it's accepted as the "correct" way to discern between the two. Even Nismo parts uses those terms to designate between the two.

I just call it "s14" and "s14 that I've never really seen before" 'cause there don't seem to be any 97-98s in Northern Nevada at all <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt='
