ecu difficulty , when swapping 5 speed ?

im gathering parts for my 5 speed swap , but i need a question answered , ... If i just go get a 5 speed ecu , do i just plug it in , and thats it ? or do i need to do any wire splitting , changing harnesses or anything like that ? , thanks .

try searching , theres been like 4 threads on this, this week, and multiple more in search
anyway yes you need to jumper some wire by the fuse box in the engine bay and maybe some other stuff, I have some threads from when I asked this question and its pretty detailed,
