hi i was reading about the JWT ecu but i was wondering if it can raise the sr20det rev limit to 9,000rpm? If not is there any more ecu's out there for the sr20det to raise the rev limit?
Thanks Jimmy |

SHUT YOUR MOUTH If you were trying to point out that having the limiter raised to 9k won't help him any, you sure have a real asshat way of doing so. Just say it, don't hide it behind some pretentious asshole e-thug bullshit. Anyway, Enthalpy ECUs remove the limiter completely. Dunno about JWT, try calling them. Most JDM ECUs that are tuned remove the limiter as well. (Central20, MINE's, Blitz Access, et al) Good luck |

Removing the rev limiter via an ECU tune is pretty easy to do if you are comfortable messing around with the ECU. If you uncomfortable with it, contacting someone like enthalpy about doing it for you is probably the way to go.

you can raise the ECU but make sure your head can keep up. Wouldnt recomend having stock head for it. Valve springs are crap. Ive seen 10k rpm redtops in japan but then again then again, they had a turbo that was big enough to suck in small mammals. T-66 iirc. Basically it needs the extra rpm to fully boost .
