Oil Feed and Restrictors

There needs to be more discussion on this, because not everyone agrees.
If you use a 3 AN line with oh say a T25, do you need a .060 restrictor still?

Or if you dont need it, and you use it, will it starve the turbo of oil?

What about if you have a 4 AN line, then you MUST have it?

What about using an inline filter, will that reduce the pressure enough?

Basically who is using what on their JOURNAL bearing turbo...I don't care about ball bearing, that is a whole other issue. JGS sells a 4 AN kit, but doesnt sell a restrictor, so what does that mean?

Finally if you do add a restrictor, where do you put it?

The T25 uses a 7/16-24 inverted flare for the feed, but the restrictor is a 1/8 NPT fitting, you could put it near the sender, but wouldnt that defeat the purpose?

I thought you would want it closer to the turbo...does anyone make an adapter to put the restrictor on there. Better yet can we just make it simple and run a 3 AN line?

Someone has got to know more on this issue than what has been posted because I have checked FA, 240sxforums, and zilvia. Dont say call garrett cause you get a different suggestion everytime you call, if it is working for you, or have experience then post it up.
