here are the symptoms...what's the problem?
The clutch is less than 2000 miles old. It is an ACT street disk, with a heavy pressure plate. While driving, I can engage and disengage the clutch like normal, even jerk the car with the clutch. Under boost, however, once I hit about 4500 rpm, it just slips alot. It there anything that could be happening that anyone knows of? I.E. - the pivot knuckle busted or something. Basically I don't want to replace anything else before I absolutely have to.
Thanks, Ryan p.s. - s14 sr20det with vvt. |

Hate to revive an older thread but I fixed the problem. I guess the shop just used some random fluid in the hydraulic system... bled it out and it was opaque brown with debris in it. Got some new fluid in there and the thing drives like a dream. Now for the overheating problem solving...
