okay, i have a Question, have any of you seen what SRSwap.com has been advertising , its a turbo kit that says 320 rwhp, my question is, dont you have to do major engine reworking on a SR to get it to be able to handle that, like having it resleeved and having your bottom end redone, and wouldnt it also be a good idea to have the valve train worked on and custom pistons and the what not. i remember reading somewhere that pushing that kind of horses out of the SR required some Major engine work, i could be wrong but thats what i thought i heard.

No, ive seen several people running 20+lbs of boost on stock sr internals. Putting in forged pistons is good for it if you have the money. But i think some stiff valve springs and metal head gasket and a good clutch would certainly be needed. I don't think resleaving is really required, the sleaves are steal, they shouldn't flex too much at 20. I think the biggest problem with running that high is to make sure the air fuel ratio is correct. All you can do is try it and if something goes wrong upgrade then(assuming no major damage). But other than that, their kit looks real nice. 320 rwhp would get you way in the twelves i would imagine.

yeah, the internals should be fine. the only thing you might want is a Rocker Arm Stopper. Other than that I'm sure the kit would come with the other stuff, like injectors, fuel pump, maf, etc..

(or maybe not.. )

edit - gscarmel - not trying to be mean.. but incase your not aware. that's post whoring. please refrain in the future.
