More and more backfiring?

I have SR20 S15 for a while now and when I first got the car with the SR it never backfire or very very little. Now 7 months later it’s backfiring all the time. Manly between all shift points it will do a light backfire when it warms up. Is there a way to fix it to do less backfiring or is there something wrong with my SR?

probably timing or incomplete fuel burn

yeah just recirculate your blow off valve and it should stop most of the backfiring. It is a common thing for turbo charged vehicles to back fire a bit.

i agree with the timing or possible unburned fuel bein blown up cause of your EGT. If you really wanna get to the root of your problem, find out why back firing occurs in the first place.

Taking it a step further, why back firing occurs in turbo charged vehicles and try to apply what you learned to your situation.

good luck.

So should I change all my plugs? If so what kind of plugs should I get? Well I have thinking that I'm running too rich. I go about 18 miles to the gallon. So thats no good. So should I go get my ECU tuned to fix the going too rich problem? By the way bdeisle, what fpr mean?
