Well this is my daily driver. I'm running the TEIN S-Techs with stock shocks. I'm just trying to get a round about. So, anyone else? Will 17x9 ET: 35 sit flush at all? Or, how close will it be? Also, what tires do I need? I don't want anything meaty. Like I said... daily driver. Hmmmm 225/50/17??? Or 225/45/17??? Keep in mind the S-Techs are only 1.5 in the front and 1.2 in the back. I want the fender right on top of the tire... so I'm thinking a 50 series.

Hmm, I guess it depends on what you think flush is. I have 17x9+14 on my s14 and they stick out in the front. I guess some people would call it "flush" but it's really not, it sticks out.

+35 front sux the shit. run at least 15mm worth of spacer to clear coilovers safely. +35 in the rear would work fine tho.

once you go with coilovers, you will most likely have a problem with +35...so might as well bring them out with spacers...theres always ways around being "too flush", so dont worry about being too flush and worry about not being flush enough...

ok guys.... lets back up for a minute. I'm not going to coilovers. I'm no slammed. I have TEIN S-Tech's..... 1.5 front and 1.2 rear. i'll get a picture of the car today and post so you can see. I'm not looking for super flush. I just don't want "sunken wheel syndrome" lol.

honestly if its a daily and not slammed
you shouldnt even bother with getting a flush stance. flush is more for looks and to some its not cool. you'll have lots of problems if you dont want to put a lot of work into it. honestly having a 17x8 + whatever is a fine wheel size get the 17x9 +35 and get tires that will suit your cars purpose. why make a car look a certain way when its a trend and ask about fitting. get some fat tires on there and deal with it. id say 255/40 - 45 since your not low. if you can, find some other ppl who have a wheel/tire combo your looking at and test fit it. i have 17x9 +10, slammed and -4 camber in the back and the tire has about 1-2mm clearance i have rolled fenders and a pull of like 1mm haha cause i got lazy. honestly its a lot of work to do alot of this stuff but i love it, since your no drifter, and this sort of look is mainly for LOOKS i dont see a daily driver NEEDING a flush stance. most this board is anti drift / drift look anyways so who cares. most who talk shit about wheel gap and not being flush dont even have it them selves. fat tires on a wide wheel imo looks cool too. anyways 17x9 +20 typically is flush with s13's adjust tire size to ride height. 50 series is huge imo

I am actually looking at the same size and offset wheels and from what the wheel vendor says, the wheel will fit fine. My question on the 17x9 and +35 offset wheel on the s13 chassis is what is the largest tires you can run without having to use spacers. I run the tein he system but I was hoping for the rear I could run at least the 255/40/17 if not the 275/40/17. I just dont like the slanted inward sidewall look and anything lower than those in width seem to narrow. Anybody know for sure for front and rear max tires size?

Right now I'm running some 17x9 +15 offset wheels. I'm using a 225/45/17 up front and a 245/45/17 in the rear. I have a 89' Fastback, the rear needs to be rolled slightly and some camber added, the front needs some good camber if it's going to fit.
