Can one semi-reliably time your 1/4mi et solo? I've tried a couple times, but I don't think my times are accurate.

i've always wanted to run mine in the 1/4 mile for fun, no tracks near me though

with a gtech pro you could, but with like, a stop watch, you might be able to get within a second.

17.2 on a ka with an exhaust, intake, running extra rich with a 3rd gear grind.

Ah isee ,well i did this at a track, its hard to get it perfect solo style.

I keep getting in the high 14s (last was 14.7) timing by hand with a stop watch. Is my NA ka24e quick or am I doing something wrong? I made sure to start time before I dropped the hammer and stopped it after the .25 mile marker.

equipment on board is a exhaust, advanced timing, msd 6a, custom short ram intake, cae, venom injectors (not sure if they are diff from stock), cf clutch, kumho supras, walbro pump, disconnected ac, short shifter. pump 91 gas.

Thats prett fuckin quick for a SOHC, not sure if its accurate, i have a friend that milled down the head and put a nismo r4 cam, he only could pull mid 15's.
