is there anyway to shorten how far the clutch pedal travels? ive heard of some kits in japan to do this but anyone got any info where i could get one?

how short do you want it? you can just adjust the height of the pedal by adjusting out the play. I haven't seen kits that actually make it shorter, you got a link?

Shorter cluthch travel, quicker shifts, the pedal is usually what slows you down in shifting

Well, dont know about adjusting it, but when i put in my ACT street clutch the travel to engage/disengage the clutch was much shorter.
You can probbaly adjust the height by playing with the link between the pedal and the master cylinder maybe. Dont remember it its adjustable or not
