I just drained my tranny oil and I'm about to fill it but I wanted the LSD oil to be draining while I filled the tranny oil.

I can't find the LSD fill plug and I don't want to drain it untill I find that. I found the drain plug on the back of the diff mounted horozontally, odd placement, but its toward the bottom so I figure it must be the drain plug.

So where is the fill plug for my s14's LSD?

BTW, there was A LOT of metal (actual shards) on my tranny drain plug (its magnetic for those of you who don't know) <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/sad.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''> not that it supprises me but it still sucks to see.

bah, that just means the plug is doing it's job. anyways, the fill plug is on the side of the tranny at around mid height.
pic of oil being filled:

it's probably not different between the S13 and S14... maybe the plug is on different sides, but i doubt that.

I can't tell what thats a pic of? is the the diff? I got my tranny oil filled already, it was just as easy as regular engine oil.
anyway, if you could give me a little more info on the LSD oil, i'd really appricate it. I've looked all over and can only find that one plug.

then yes, what you're looking at is the differential, and that's where the fill plug should be. <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/tounge.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=''>
