Issues with a newly installed clutch

I'm having some issues with the clutch since replacing the clutch over the weekend.

The clutch was replaced with an Exedy OE replacement since I'm not going to do constant clutch-kicking and such, and since the clutch was replaced, it doesn't feel the same as it used to. The Master cyl, the slave cyl, throw out bearing, the pilot bushing, and the rear main seal were all replaced with OEM Nissan(not shitty Autozone) parts, and the clutch line was replaced with an SPL Stainless Steel clutch line. The input shaft has been greased, and all necessary precautions have been taken.

The symptoms:

When clutch pedal is engaged it makes a screeching noise, especially when backing in reverse, or putting it in first, but disappears after each gear.

Also when the clutch is engaged, the revs fluctuate as well, going as low as 300rpm and then back up(as low as 900rpm when the A/C is on), and it has caused me to stall a couple of times.

The feel is also much much lighter than normal, which surprised me since I expected the clutch pedal feel to be a bit stiffer due to the SS clutch line, but apparently not.

In addition, the crankshaft position sensor was broken during the installation but was replaced, yet it's still emitting a CEL. I figured that was the cause of the surging, but that wasn't it either.

For the first two symptoms, I'm guessing the clutch needs to be broken in, but I'm looking for other opinions from others whom also experienced these issues.

If anyone has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

did you get to bleed the clutch line completely? the S13 actually has two places to bleed, the slave cylinder and a small junction box where the clutch line loops around the frame. im not sure if the S14 has this, but I failed to bleed that junction box and I suffered some of the same symptoms as you...just a thought and good luck

CPS won't effect anything, it's only for diagnostics of misfire, so that's not it.

I'd bleed the hydraulics first to be certain it's not air related, then adjust the pdeal for free play. Do that and come back with any other symptons.

The clutch line was bled, and the dampener box was removed.

The clutch line will be bled again and the pedal will be adjusted to see if that works.

The reason I wanted to get the CEL's off was to get my inspection done and I can't get it inspected if the CEL's are showing.
