Pick one:Oil temp or Oil pressure

I have a 3 gauge pod above my cd player and i have boost and water temp in there and one empty. I have a greddy oil filter relocation kit on the way and it has spots for either a oil temp or pressure gauge. I was thinking pressure but i just wanted to see what the rest of you think. What is the normal oil pressure or allowable range for an sr.

Oil Pressure for sure.

On my motor I usually do 1~1.2kgf at 800rpm fully warmed up. then 3.5~4 at 3000rpm and 5.5+ at anything over 4000RPM.

Thats on 15W-50

+1 for pressure. It's much more important than temperature.

yes there is "too high a pressure" if the pressure is too high the seals will shoot out and gaskets will give up and all your oil pressure will turn into no oil pressure and a big mess on the ground.
