I need to sell this car by Saturday, Oct.18th 2003 If I don't receive the asking price from someone, I will sell to highest offer! SERIOUS BUYERS ONLY PLEASE!!! :::edit::: 1990 Nissan 240SX XE Coupe 5-Speed Mileage: 161,xxx on ODO Features Include: Power Windows & Locks, Digital Gauges + HUD, NO SUNROOF, NO LSD. Exterior: Few dings and scratches with no major dents. Never been in an accident to my knowledge. There is rust on sidepanels about the size of my fist near backend of doors on both sides and also some rougher rust on rear tire wells. Paint looks great from a little distance but when up close you will see the rust and a little of wear it has encountered. Has spoiler and zenki lip. Interior: The interior is near perfect. Mats need to be changed, passenger seat a cigarette hole or two, dash is CLEAN, carpet is CLEAN! Mechanical: Swap this engine for anything else, even another KA. Smokes, Ticks, Etc. It drives OK a little sluggish but not as well as I want it too. Come see it. If I can add a picture later, I will. Recent Tune-Up, Clutch Slave Cylinder, Discs & Pads All-Around. Tires have lots of life left. Have a spare thermostat & gasket also an oil sensor layin' around will include. Asking $1,500 OBO... BTW, Title is clean and car was originally from Aurora,IL area most its life. I wanted to keep this car and make a Silvia project out of it later in Feb. but my business and life need more TLC than this car needs at the moment so I'm trying to get a newer, more dependable mid-size sedan for work+family. I will get another 240 in February I guess. I need to sell this car LIKE YESTERDAY as I need the funds to complete the down payment on the newer car. I have the deal pending a down payment. To all others: If I dont buy the Infiniti I30 (hypothetically speaking)... I will continue to work on my car. I will be looking for a complete engine/tranny package (KA series) preffrably with low mileage. Thanks! Or I will sell my car still... |

Ive had some people look at it and have been impressed. Why? Because since I mention rust on this thread they assume the car is junk and when they see how clean the car is they are somewhat relieved! Anyway, I have no serious offers and no sale pending yet so if anyone is interested contact me via PM or e-mail. [email protected] The more I think about peoples reactions and the parts I've recently installed I regret settling for $1,500 but I'll stick with it as that's my original asking price. I promise you it's more than worth the cash. Im still working on better pics but if you're local I will meet or go to you. -Omar :::edit::: BTW, I went to a body shop for some estimates and these are the results... $400: Visible Rust $700: Removes All Rust Found Anywhere (Engine Bay, Underbody, Exterior) $800: Paints car same color $1300: Paints car whatever color in and out (Engine Bay, Door Jambs, Etc) Im sure someone may have better hook-ups but IMO If $2,000 leaves the car rust free and looking like NEW, then hey... thats awesome! This is long shot whether or not it would be actually possible or not, but would you have any interest in trading your 240 + $1k for my 93 hatch. It has relatively high miles, but has been very reliable transportation for me over the course of the 2 years I have owned. Only minor things have had to be fixed, and nothing has needed to be replaced in the last year.
That way you could have reliable transportation for the winter and continue with your plans to swap later on. |

 But I now own a 2004 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport Coupe Reliable N Fun! So Im sorry. To all others... The car will be given to the dealer as trade on Thursday the 30th unless I sell soon. Current offer is given by young man who attends UTI and that price is $800... Sold to anyone who beats it and is ready. He wont take it until Sat/Sun.
