Because I'm ethnically Chinese (Haha sorry Akademik) and would like to see this Olympic games be successful for China.
As for the cheating, if you're referring to the questionable ages. I don't find it too hard to believe that out of a pool of a billion people, and training that starts at 3 years old is it to find the smallest, shortest, most athletic girls.
If it's found that He Kexin is indeed 14 or whatever that's claimed than of course those medals should be taken away but it seems like whatever will happen, people will still believe what they believe.
The very fact that people question why i'm rooting for a China and that I need to explain myself already says a lot. What is this, the 1920s?
With the attitudes of the some of the recent posts in this thread and the commentators and people like Chris Chase who wrote that article, as well as "the real Olympic medal count" makes me lose more faith in the U.S. than in China.
