As for the cheating, if you're referring to the questionable ages. I don't find it too hard to believe that out of a pool of a billion people, and training that starts at 3 years old is it to find the smallest, shortest, most athletic girls.

If it's found that He Kexin is indeed 14 or whatever that's claimed than of course those medals should be taken away but it seems like whatever will happen, people will still believe what they believe.

With the attitudes of the some of the recent posts in this thread and the commentators and people like Chris Chase who wrote that article, as well as "the real Olympic medal count" makes me lose more faith in the U.S. than in China.

There has got to be a reason why you, a Chinese person, is residing in the US. Perhaps you're a sadist? You left China's paradise for the shitty imperfect US of A? A place where we actually treat human life with some dignity...I can completely understand why you'd live here and root for them.

Because I was disappointed in some peoples attitude, that means I said China was a paradise, and that the US was shitty and imperfect?

So because I'm not rooting for the US as much as China (still hoping US wins events China isn't in/has no chance at) I shouldn't live in the country?

That's not what I'm saying at all. I'm just thinking that your community, your freedom, your friends, your opportunities in the US should garner more loyalty than your gene pool.

Hell, I'm an immigrant too...and I can honestly say that I have more in common with the average american than I would with the average afghan. I would guess the same to be true for you.
