When you slap over fenders on, you're supposed to cut the oem fender high up, both inner and outer since theres two metal. Then you're supposed to reweld them back together so the its sealed. Doesnt look like they cut the old fenders high enough.
From the looks of the picture, it doesnt look like they welded/sealed the inner and outer fender back together. You'll get shit/waster getting inside your car. Here's a good step by step of the process... http://www.cardomain.com/ride/392168...-silvia/page-4 |

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.. It looks like they didn't cut the old ones high enough.
I watched them doing some welding so I think they did that part. Just kind bummed now. My own fault I guess for not inspecting it better. Edit: Went down to the bodyshop (this is a couple months later after the work has been done). Told them the deal, showed them pictures of what it's supposed to look like. And acknowledged they fucked up and are going to cut the original fender up higher.... which they should have done in the first place... but at least I don't have to threaten legal action. Going to watch them do the whole thing this time possibly. So my question is solved. Anyone pics of what an over-fender install is NOT supposed to look like? Check the bottom of the last page. Hey there
I have 18x8.5 +25 lmgt4's with 235/45/18's mounted for the front And 18x9 +30 XSA 02c's for the rear, still no tires This is for my s13 coupe, with lowering springs on stock shocks and hammered front fenders, probably gonna roll both fenders, and eventually get coilovers. But for now on lowering springs. My questions are what tires should i run in the rear? maybe throw the 235/45's from the lmgt4's to the works, and get something like 215's or 225's for the lmgt4's? Or go with a whole new set or different tires? Also will i need spacers? im guessing i do Thanks |

You dont need spacers to fit them but you'd probably want some spacers to get them somewhat flush to the fenders. You shouldnt have to roll/pull the fenders on this setup.
As far as the tires, you probably wanna get rid of the 235/45-18 all together since those are too big for these cars. I doubt you'd fit those tires up front without hitting the top of the struts. I'd run some 215/40 up front and 225/40 in the rears. |

what size spacers should i run on 17x7.5 +35 with 20mm overs on the rear (car came with them) the tire size im running is 235 45 17. I want the wheel to sit sorta flush with the fender, since im planning on tucking.... car has coils on it

![]() As i know the stretch of 225 on 10J is pretty serious.. So if i drifting sometimes with stretch like this, any chances the the the tire will rip at the stretch points under pressure? or its fully safe? |

Honestly, if you can trade up to something a little wider and has a better offset for the S-Chassis, go with that. Unless you're dumb enough to go with these for your shitty sized wheels: ![]() |

Like I've said before, the same exact wheels I have up front (Work Equip 18x10 running 225/40-18s) are my track/daily wheels up front since I've run nothing but Dunlop Star Specs. I've been running 10js on 225/40s since 2007. Never had an issue. I've even had a small leak that caused one of the wheels to get down to 15 psi and didnt even break the bead.

I would run a smaller profile in the front. I have 215/45's up front on mine and it's keepin me from going any lower without drastick modification.

And for the rear, that will be fine. 215 225 doesn't matter in terms of fitment. If a question doesn't get answered, I get PM's from people. So I might as well address it where people can see. |

Well take that back, this and the guy in tech asking why his wheels look off when he's running 2 different offset wheels up front, is probably neck to neck right now. ![]() |

I got some rims and tires for free and i was wondering what size tires i should get to stop the tires rubbing but still get the meaty look. They are high negative offset 15x8 mangels rims with P235/60R15s. obviously they are too big and they rub the firewall really bad at full lock. any help and advice would be appreciated!
here are some pictures: ![]() ![]() ![]()

Does any1 have a varstoen 2.2.1 18X10.5 with the rear 300zx calipers?
I want to know if there would be a clearance issue because the people at varrstoen don't know. Thanks

^I'm not even going to answer that. That's such a dumb question. When has anybody ever have any clearance issues with a rear caliper that doesn't sit out further than where the rotor meets the hub?
Not even flat spoke designs like some mesh wheels will touch that caliper lol. |

Again, this thread requires understanding and research on how wheel fitment/offset work. Not to be spoon fed information. ![]() |
