Are you thinking about swaping front cover to get more volume? If you are, then I'm probably thinking the same.

There's a guy from Australia that fitted a GTIR oilpump/front cover onto a RWD SR, his reason for doing it was because he wanted more oil volume. With some minor modification, he got it to bolt on to the RWD SR with only one of the top bolt hole.

For a while I was thinking about fitting the VE front cover onto my Blacktop using the same method the Australian guy used, but I never had the time to do it. Ontop of that the VE front cover is about $250, and I had just purchased a RWD front cover. Someone on SR20 Forum, actually took apart the GTIR, DE, and VE pump gear to compared them and the GTIR and the VE pump gears are thicker (more volume?).
