Anyone ever thought about putting a titan 5.6 V8 in their 240?

I was day dreaming the other day in my English class, and i was wondering if anyone has ever thought about about putting a titan 5.6 V8 engine in their 240. I wonder if it would even fit? You would probably have to do a ton of modifications.

i saw some pictures awhile back of some guy shoving it into an s13 (i think.) the engine fit, but the tranny was a monster, he wound up chopping up 3/4 of the tunnel and firewall to make the transmission fit. I'll see if i can dig up some pictures..

I was thinking about this the other day too. Our cars came with a Nissan truck engine, why not upgrade to a newer one?

stroked sr thats the only other thing I would put in an s-chasis besides the normal sr.

oh KA24DET done right is nothing to laugh at either.

If I have 7 grand to light on fire I would totally build one see if I could break into 11s and pull a decent lap time.

But it just wouldnt be as much fun as the rev happy throttle response sr.
