When you pull the ebrake while pressing the brake pedal, is there a tug on either?

I pretty much use them independantly, I dont know if I'd call it a tug but heres my take on how it feels:

Basically you feel more of the foot brake in the handle and you cant really feel much of the handle in the foot brake.

if you were to slam the foot brake first the handle will be rock hard
If you use light foot brake you could feel it in the handle until you pull it to where it is clamping down, after that point the hand brake feels like its just rears and the foot brake is just fronts.

if you pull the handbrake and than push the foot brake you would only feel the front brakes on your foot, and the rear brakes on your hand.

It seems like there is a certain point in the first part of the handbrakes stroke where the piston cuts the inlet from the OEM master and pressurizes the back brakes independantly with the fluid in the handbrake cylinder.

There is not much stroke needed to lock up the rear, just a couple of inches. A new finesse is quickly learned to modulate the new brake. Its a big contrast to the OEM side brake which requires brute force to get the rears to lock.

No one to my knowledge that bought the MAX oil cooler has a thermostat.
If you are running in the winter and you guage reads too cold, you can simply cover part or all of the air flow to the cooler.

FYI. we are put of the stainless steel braided cooler kits but have lots of 19 row oil cooler kits in stock for $60 each.

I know this is a nissan forum but a couple of people who own FC3S RX7's have hit up this thread asking about our new coilover application, so here is the "low down"

From the front page news: MAX competition coilovers for FC3S RX7

Parts shop MAX expands its aggressive coilover applications to include another classic drift chassis, the FC3S. This new application comes with standard 8/10KG springs.
Unique features include caster and camber adjustment in the top plate, independant camber adjust on the bottom bracket & offset urethane rear lower mount in addition to all of the great features S chassis owners have come to enjoy. In stock now in the USA.

Works great, For first hand impression just ask Martin here at PSMUSA He has been running the prototypes for a very long time now:

We're out right now so perhaps just get them when you are ready for the coilovers and they can go in the same box for zero shipping fees.

We have oil coolers in stock for $60ea but the hoses and relocation block are out of stock. I'd need to know what the threads were on the defi sensor to answer the question.

How do you install the hydro e-brake?

I know the unit itself is offered.

How do you run the lines?

How do you mount the unit?

Also,

What is the bore size?

The top port on the hand brake goes to the OEM master cylinder's rear brake output, the end port of handbrake goes to the hard line that used to screw into the OEM master.

Tack weld a reinforcement plate of 1/8" steel to the tranny tunnel, and weld or bolt the hydro brake box to that.
This method is really strong so it does not wiggle and flex like other brakes.

3/4 bore.

Heres what they are missing....

So here is the progress on the seats, the fiberglass will be black, but can be paint matched to your car as shown below, also carbon and kevlar to follow on later releases - black stretchy material with carbon grey suede cloth cushions, harness frames will be CNC machined aluminum as shown in the CAD drawings but the top frame will have a bend in it also. Price and release date still unconfirmed but were closer than before.

Those seats look badass man. Can't wait for them to come out so I can pick one up. I'll hold off on buying a seat just to get this. Can't wait!!

Thanks, we will probably offer colored cushions to customize, it's just too easy because they just pop right in place with the velcro on the back. (but the grey and black will be standard)

We have alot of really cool stuff coming out next year, we're so excited.
Rumer has it to include:

Hydro Hand brake
Bucket seat
An even lower spec RUCA and Toe Rod
Turbo back exhaust cobra
Super angle steering knuckles

Thank you for the pictures.

I see two cables going in and only one by the e-brake handle.

Where does the other one go to?

How do you bleed the brake sytem with this unit?

Carlos
