I have to think that with the same sensor they would have to be almost the same. They didn't cross compare by plugging other company's displays into other sensors. Hell, buying a batch of same manufacturing run would have been good too.

PLX in their documentation is really particular on how you hook up the power and grounds for good output.

At the end of the day they all use the same sensor and I think it's more what interface and form-factor you prefer. For having a section on interface the had no shots of the interfaces.
