I wast just gonna say, I don't hardly use a jack at all anymore. Even with oil changes, I just have a low pro pan. I do it all from the top. Greddy pan is your friend.

There are some cars on here that "any jack" couldn't fit under the side of. My car isn't even low and a lot of jacks wont clear the sideskirt. I use whatever I can find to get underneath my car. haha.

The side is fine for changing a tire, but if you're dropping suspension, doing brakes, or anything involving both sides, why do it one at a time?

This is what I use... The Harbor freight deal...
![]() Harbor Freight Tools - Quality Tools at the Lowest Prices But I wouldn't trust my life under one of those cheap jacks... I just lift the car up and put jackstands underneath as fast as possible...

I use this bad boy for my shop. It is really low and has a really long reach. It's big though, so it's not something you want to take in your trunk for track days.

Stands are stands, as long as they have locks and aren't bent they should be fine. I've got stands I paid $10 for and some that were $70, they're not much different.
