Yes it was. The guy that owns the brewery, Tony, is an uncle of a very good friend of mine. He always hook us up with free beers when he comes to visit. He's a very good guitar player.
Here is a first batch of my "Must Have In The Fridge" beers. Beers that I can't get tired of, and I must have all the times.

My beer choice for St. Pat's Day beside Guinness Foreign extra.

Angels Share...I keep trying it, and am not a fan. WHY.

Port Mongo...awesome

Weyerbacher Riserva 2011 (that came out not to long ago)...freakin good still

Trying to think of any other standouts of late, but I've been pretty plain of late. Lots of DFH 60minute, Troegs Nugget Nectar, and Victory Moonglow though, three great beers.

Lots of KBS, followed with more KBS. Had some Ithica Flower Power Mixed in there, along with Weyerbacher Uniform (RoggenBeer)...all were good. Worst beer this weekend was an old Ruination IPA... blech!

Beer guru! Haha. Hey on a serious note did you buy that Erdinger glass in the states? I love German hefe-weissbier of any damn sort and it seems that the Erdinger glass you own is the only glass that fits those beers like a glove.

I'm not really a fan of the Old Gaurdian...it's a little too 'hop forward' IMO for a barleywine. I've got a bottle of WTF in the fridge now too, will be cool to try.

Yes I did get it in the states. It came with a gift pack that I received during the holidays. It's a nice looking glass.
I love the Duvel glasses. I got my hands on two cases of the Duvel glasses. They're collectibles. The art works are from internationally known artists.

I did not like Old Guardian last year. I thought I will give it a shot again this year.

Looks like a nice tasting. Some friends had a nice tasting when I was on vacation. They did vertical tasting of some cool beers: '08,'09,'10'&'11 Dark Lord,KBS,Goose Island Bourbon County...
Since I'm parting out my car, I've decided to have a good beer everytime I'm in the garage working on it. It's been good. I had some of the 21st amendment beers:#8,Monk's blood and some Blue and Gray Bormans Belgian Ale that I bought on tap.
More beers:

How is Abacus/Scubra? I've had the other two FW beers, both were nice.

Monks Blood is junk IMO.

Two of the latest additions. The Dogfishhead 90minute IPA is an old favorite. The Allagash White is more recent discovery

Haha thank god for Alberta I don't have to be 21 only have to be 18 here

Not sure if it was mentioned before but Erdinger Dunkel is a great dark beer I definitely enjoyed that one.

I've also tried becks, it was a whole lot of beer I think almost a liter (if you know what that is ) and I didn't enjoy it too much it was pretty bitter for my taste. Those are about the only 2 specialty beers I've tried because they're damn expensive at my local pub.

You know, i dont know what it is but the dunkel in the states is not the same thing as the dubkel in germany (only talkin about erdinger) it just doesnt taste as good. Its too strong and too dark.

Meh, I didn't like it that much. There are way better wheat beers out there. 5/10.
