why the hell would you swap in a s15 spec r with a 6 speed?

That trans is beyond terrible. And a s15 sr is the same as a 14 blacktop sr with a tad bigger turbo. If you plan on running any bigger then stock turbo the s15 sr is a waste of money.

i was thinking the exact same thing. my engine has cams thus making the VTC obsolete. and i have a top mount mani thus making anything with a T2 flange obsolete. plus a 6 speed is cool but doesnt really do a whole lot except give you another gear. unless i was gonna put a t56 in or something that has a final drive of like .7 : 1 or something really numerically low.
