electrical guru's needed! headlight question
Have a 96 s14. Have hid's in the low and standard halogens in the high. How do I get the low and high to come on when switched to highbeam? The low beam turns off cause the hid is only running off the low beam power supply wheras on a halogen there is another fillament used for the high beam operation..
Any wiring that I can do? |

Wolstentech TDR, I used this for H4 setups that run HID retros. It's been thru many changes and I found a few flaws in early R&D. I like how it works and wow looks like there's been even more changes to it....!
It's a solid state time delay relay, so you get high dollar oem coolness, if your into that stuff. I could also show you how to run multiple standard relays or even show you how to add a separate switch, but I thought you wanted to keep it simple and probably do it what I consider, "the right way".

Pretty sure that S14 doesn't have a relays for hi/low beams. So I'd say add those and use a diode between high and low signal wires.
Also google Hi-4 mod as that's essentially what you're trying to do. |
