So last night It was pretty wet out so I figured I would take the 240sx out to learn to drift a little. *note* I am really new and just getting into drifting. In other words the 240sx is only on lower springs, open diff sadly, and has a stock ka24de.

I was doing well but i could only initiate the drift(power slide) by clutch kicking and I would get too excited/nervous and keep my foot on the gas.. and due to the help of the open diff -___- it would fling the car back around and that eventually made me run over a curb. thank god there was little to no damage if anything just the front bumper.

What I am asking is a little advice. I plan to purchase all new rotors/pads because my e-brake doesn't lock up the rear tires yet even with an adjustment. I am also looking to purchase PBM competition coilovers, and I am getting my diff welded. Is there much more to it then that as a beginner drifter besides lots of tires/drift spares??

I am reading up all the time so please don't flame. Thank you.

I am researching everyday just thought I'd lay that out there for now.
