I have the tein tie rod and ends for my S14 and I was wondering if I should put the spacer. I want that extra steering angle but I was wondering if it is ok for everyday street use. I checked the write up on the Tein tie rods but it didnt talk about the spacer being good or bad.

Yes, you can use them for daily driving. Make sure apply thread-lock before tightening them down.

Hell yeah! It makes parking in tight spaces so much easier! I've had mine on my car for the last two years with no issues at all. But, just as the above Slidin240wayz mentioned get some loctite threadlocker, it's pretty cheap and good to have around anyway.

3 years on mine. i didnt put threadlock, doesnt hurt not to, but it adds a lil security to your mind.

I did not put threadlock on mine and I have been riding on them for about 2+ years without any issues.

Go ahead and toss them on.

I'd also recommend tossing thread lock on there for added safety.

Only adverse affect from it is increase in bump steer.

Increase in bump steer??? I thought when I get the beefier rod its going to reduce bumpsteer a little bit.

pretty much - it moves the joint on the inner rod outward increasing the angularity of the rod... the more of an angle the rod is on - the more affect the car compressing down has on the steering alignment (toe and such)

so its like when u hit a weird dip in the road or turn hard - the car will squat or roll and turn the wheel some...

its worse if ur rods run uphill bc ur slammed without spacers on the outer ends (i was like that a while and it SUCKED hitting dips on the highway.)

my steering rack is leaking from the tie rod area,if i get new(tein)rods will this stop the leak or do i need to have my rack rebuilt b4 i get the tie rods>

get a new/rebuilt rack... tie rods dont seal anything. Also - replace the boots, and steering rack bushings while u have it apart.
