Bad attempt to compare since drifting is gay as hell.
The waist moulding is the outside upper strip of trim. One screw at the back edge, then clips across the door. If the cable is broken you should be able to force the window down, if not unbolt the motor separately to relieve pressure on it, then push the glass to the bottom.
