Here are a few pictures from our process. This was our first time brewing, but will definitely be doing it more often now that we've invested in equipment.

Now bottle, should be ready in 1-2 weeks.

Mmmm :-)...
What process is that? Looks like some sort of grain hybrid method.

Not a hybrid, we fully used grain to make our wort. No extract used. And Pete Coors touched on a bit of both. But mostly just coors, the upcoming of the company and the merger with Miller.

I had a hitachino espresso stout awhile back and it was pretty good.

In case you haven't noticed, I love stouts.

Awesome to know there are other people on here that brew as well. I've brewed several beers and I have to say that the beers you make yourself are better than almost anything you can buy.

I wish I was better at it, been a total failure and quit haha.

Been a while since posting in here, some recent highlights were:

Nebraska Hop God on draft
Weyerbacher Riserva '10 (love super sour)
Cantillon Blabaer
Ithica LeBlue (again, I love this beer)
KBS on Draft too.

Yea I've had a few that don't turn out, but don't get discouraged! It's all about being careful and making something you will love. I tried to make a peach hefe and it turned out terrible, tasted really sour. But the next one I made was a mango cream ale and it was fantastic. Made the hassle of the first one worth it.

Top 3:
Hoegaarden
Blue Moon
Newcastle (The One And Only!)

Other: Hefe's, Corona, or Leinenkugel (Sunset Wheat)

I do not like the bitterness/hoppyness of IPA, so I generally stay away from those

Cheers!

Yup, first time i had it was at Mar'sel at the Terrenea Resort in Rancho Palas Verdes, but various bars carry this beer. I know you can get it at BevMo but its like 8 bucks for a 12 oz bottle. Kinda Expensive for JDM Beer

If you Like Stouts Try "Old Rasputin" by North Coast Brewery.... they are legit and are a local Brewer Here California. Really good beer, lots of roasted Coco and Coffee notes with a faint Hoppy bitterness... Plus its 9% ABV!!!!Probably my Favorite stout I have tried Thusfar

If you Like IPAs Try "Pliny the Elder" by Russian River brewery... great Double IPA, and 8% abv. this is also brewed in California!

if you cant tell i have a thing for California beers

Dear Corona

Whenever you need to install a lime in your beer to make it taste good, you are doing it wrong.

The people I have helped with their All Grain setups use the Three-Tier method. Some of these "simpler" setups confuse me.

When it sits in a boxcar for a month or so on it's trip from Mexico of course it's going to taste like shit.

Yea its pretty crazy That Red Rice Beer uses Rice as the primary ingredient rather than wheat or barley.... its even Brewed in a similar fashion to Sake

Redbridge is another gluten free beer that i seen, made and distributed by Anheuser-Busch so you should be able to find it no problem... Redbridge cites only four ingredients: water, fermented sorghum, hops, and yeast

Good luck on your search for gulten free drunkardness!

Redbridge is another gluten free beer that i seen, made and distributed by Anheuser-Busch so you should be able to find it no problem... Redbridge cites only four ingredients: water, fermented sorghum, hops, and yeast

Good luck on your search for gulten free drunkardness!
Redbridge uses sorghum syrup. Fermented sorghum is a multi-step process(of heating and cooling) that is hard to do right. Why you see most GF beers being made with Syrup. Using Syrup is just like extract brewing. You can do just as good or better at home.

Do you have whole foods where you are? They have four or five gluten free beers. My wife eats/drinks gluten free and we have bought redbridge before. It is...fair, not that great imo but its not undrinkable. I can usually only drink about one of them at a time before I get tired of them.

If you Like IPAs Try "Pliny the Elder" by Russian River brewery... great Double IPA, and 8% abv. this is also brewed in California!

if you cant tell i have a thing for California beers
Funny you mention all three of those, as I've had all three on many occasions and they are all up there in my top beers. Pliny the Elder is my favorite West coast IPA/IIPAs, whereas Bells Hopslam is my favorite East coast. Old Rasputin is probably the best imperial stout I've tasted, although I'm waiting to try a Ballast Point Sea Monster that is in my fridge. Right now in my fridge I have a Stone Cali Belgie, Russian River Blind Pig, Dogfish Head Aprihop, Dogfish Head Palo Santo, Ballast Point Sea Monster, Samuel Smith Oatmeal Stout, and Stone Holiday Ale. I've also got a couple boxes in my closet with beers that are aging.
